Locking the app becomes free#129

I know I’m asking for a lot but I feel like I could be more open to the journal and just the app in general if it could be locked. I have some noisy people in my household that like to open random apps. I just think this feature should be free because it really has an impact on my behaviour on this app. Just even a code is fine. I will be so thankful if you make only this feature free… Thank you.

Yes please make locking the app free!

Everything else is good but if locking is not available for free, then a person would feel insecure in using the app because anyone can open the app anytime and read their inner thoughts, which no one would like. So, if a person doesn’t have a subscription they might delete the app after some time due to insecurity they might feel

If a person doesn’t have privacy they wont use the app for a long time and might delete it because of insecurity and fear of someone else reading their thoughts. I like this app, but i might not use it for long and switch to my iphone’s journal again if this feature doesn’t become available because it is a very basic necessity for a journal that’s why it should not be a part of premium.

This change will be live in 2025.6 update which is coming soon.
